I just picked up my new TC today but I notived that the alarm is very sensitive. Each time a truck drives by (even when parked in my garage) the alarm goes off.

Currently switched off the power connection as I fear the constant alarm will drain my battery.

Does anyone have the same issue? Or can you change the sensitivity?

Thanks

The alarm is a closed unit without any adjustment possibilities, it is located on the left side below the fuse/safety switch, maybe try to loose it and move/rotate it and mount in another position to see if it helps?

@jonsnow @superhonda

Sort of on the same topic .. Hope you (@jonsnow) don't mind me sliding in this question as it's kind of (alarm) related. ? my question is how is the "volume" of the alarm siren?  I noticed at the dealership, the alarm was very faint/quiet.  Wasn't enough to get peoples attention if bike was tampered with.  Could the speaker be replaced or amplified to make it louder?

@superhonda, how did you get the schematic diagram!?  Do you have one for the whole bike?

"Could the speaker be replaced or amplified to make it louder?"

Also think thats the alarm is more like a toy, not much to rely on..

Certainly not impossible but probably not easy. Depending on whether there is a siren inside - which generates the sound itself and only receives voltage at detected alarm or a speaker connected via audio output, the component could be switched to a better one. If you have some electronic skills and some components to choose from, start experimenting!

Its a lot of buzzers/sirens on ebay etc;
