So after not that many miles, coming up to 300, my CPX had an issue today were the handle bar display went dead, with it, it took down all the lights and the horn.

Not the best way to ride when your brakes are invisible and when it gets dark you have not a single light on as well as not being able to indicate.

Apart from these issues, the rest of the bike worked as expected.

Initial steps to rectify this were to power down the bike and disconnect the battery for 10min to see if this fixed but unfortunately it did not help.

I managed to get home and have now emailed the dealer to see if they have any suggestions.

Fingers crossed it might come to life after the night with no battery as otherwise it feels like they will need to replace parts.

I am using it with a single battery and all wiring in the battery compartment seems ok, it has also not been through any serious rain as yet and parked in a car port so not really exposed to the elements.

Hi. It might be the battery. We had something similar. The bike still worked but the dash went off. Took a bit of trouble shooting but the easiest to test would be with a loan battery.

@green-mopeds-com thank you, will pass that detail on, were there any other indications you had that pointed you in the battery direction?

@green-mopeds-com spoke with the dealer and they will test the battery but suspect its the step down converter from 60v to 12v that might have gone, luckily they have one in stock as well so hopefully a quick turn around, its going to their shop today
