The connector is hidden in a rubber "pseudo-bag" to avid connections get wet. Probably is just a plug and play device. Try to open the front cover (only you need to realease two screws (they correspond to two holes that you can see, one close to the USB charger and the other simetrically located) and take a look but I guess it will be quite easy.
