Hello everybody,

I'm replacing my rear wheel bearings on the CPx 2021. (Work is in progress.) After 41K it started to make some noise.

It's not that easy to do, but it can be done. You have to remove and dismantel the engine. Later i wil try to make some sort report of my journey.

For now i can tell you what size bearings are used:

Left hand side bearing: 6008-2RS (40x68x15mm)
Left hand side dust seal: 40x50x7/9 (IDxODxTH)
Right hand side bearing: 6205-2RS (25x52x15mm)

I just ordered some new bearings, seal, gasket paper, circlip. €73,60 (including shipping)

I hope you can use this information.

To be continued...!

@abk Don't know it. I haven't worked on that part. Maybe in the future! 😉

@abk I bought one unit recently from easy parts.nl and it was about 120€ with delivery to Portugal. It can vary depending where you live.

Check their spare parts.

@abk For future use, i would recommend to try to find the right topic to put your question in or start a new topic. I started this topic on rear wheel bearings and i don't want other topics in it. Also it is better for other forum users to find the right information in the right topic. Thank you.

My bearings are being delivered tomorrow, so the project can continue..!

Here a picture of the rear/left engine plate that had to get pulled off the shaft.

I bought 1 meter of M8-thread and cut it in 3 pieces. Installed it al the way down in the threaded holes where the brake disc was sitting.

Bought a bearing/flywheel-puller. €25,-

I fabricated a tool out of a piece of tube and steel plate. Welded them together and drilled a smal center hole. Here the flywheel-puller can center itself. Also made a smal cut in the tube for the cable to pass by.

By turning the flywheel-puller center bolt, the engine plate gets extracted verry easy! 🙂
