I've been looking for a 2nd battery for my Super Soco TS1200R, the big struggle for me is that the original battery of the super soco very expensive is. I've found a cheaper and bigger battery on some sites.

My question is, are there people who have a not official battery in there Super Soco TS/TC? And how did you guys did that with the cables etc.

You need to add 2 wires to the controller (+ and -). If you want to use 2 batteries at the same time, you need to make sure they have same voltage. I also recommend using batteries with the same capacity. You can buy original and non-original batteries on taobao (fits perfectly), good luck.

So adding the + & - wires for the 2nd batt to the controller and also have the parallel y-cable (from outdoordreams) ?

No, either you buy the parallel box or add your own wires to the controller. The controller route is cheaper but you will need to change the battery connector + understand how to connect 2 batteries manually.

Thanks for the reply. 🙂  So, two batteries and two cables that each are connected to the controller.  And what you're attempting here is that both batteries can be plugged in at the "same" time to the controller using the + & - connections?

Essentially both batteries are connected in parallel right?

With connecting both batteries directly to the controller, can you charge both at the same time?

Did it improve accelleration?
