Hi all, just took delivery of my TC, very excited to get it out on the road. I have an issue though. I'm trying to adjust the footpegs, but they seem to be completely rigid. It might be that they're just stiff, but can someone advise me if I'm doing wrong?

I followed the instructions precisely, loosened the bolts with the allen key inside the seat compartment.

I had mine changed by the dealer but the procedure as you describe it should do the trick. At least that's how he did it.

Try to remove the bolts entirely, maybe that works?

You need to slacken the lower bolt on each side until it is almost removed completely, and then change the position of both footrests at the same time.

As far as I remember, it's not necessary to slacken either of the top bolts.  There are three locator holes that the taper of the bottom bolt connects with to lock into position when you tighten it up again.

This was what I needed to know, the manual is not at all clear that you need to slacken both bolts simultaneously.

So now I've the footpegs loose and adjustable, I can't for the life of me lock them back into place.

(Some time later...)

...aaaand we're done here. Thanks Ulstersoco, they oughta have you write the manual next time. How's your Mandarin?

You also have to remove the one bold on both sides simultaneously.
