Hiya, so I have a SS/TC purchased Nov last year with no QR code in the box, and the rear mudguard/license plate holder QR takes you to the official website.
Removing the left panel showed me there's no BT module, following the instructions in this video.
Can I summarise correctly that a) this is a common issue, and b) you can NOT buy a BT module separately in order to link with the app for auto-diagnostics?

In the netherlands you can buy a module to link the soco app to it. The dealer said that if I wanted to use the Soco app and connect with the bike, I would have to buy a module. There is a short "free" period of use, but after that its like a monthly plan. Just to see the battery and location of the bike...

@themazedammit what is the price and the monthly fee after the "free period"?

If not too expensive, it may be good at least to know where is the bike if it gets stolen. I'm always afraid when left parked in the city, because the built-in alarm is too soft and the bike is not heavy, so simple for some one with a truck to throw it inside the trunk and go.

I believe the dealer said something around 15 Euro's a month. But I haven't seen it for myself yet.

I'll be getting my TSX soon. Hopefully the dealer can provide me with more information. I'll keep you posted about it.

@themazedammit that’s my dealer too, but what do they charge and what are the benefits of the module except battery status and bike location?

There is a ECU module that needs to be in the bike in order to connect your phone with it. If the bike has the module, than Super Soco has one year free membership. And after that year, you need to pay a monthly fee of arounf 15 euro.
If the bike doesnt have the module, you can buy one at La Souris for around 200/300 euro.

You can now download the Soco app to view a demo of what the app can do.
Ive been told that its sole purpose is to track the location of the bike and view the charge you have left. Ive seen some diagnostics you can perform, but the demo is limited.

Other than the app: the information above is what the dealer told me. I didnt see firsthand if any of it is true. Ill let you know when I get my TSX.

@themazedammit Thanks dude, super helpful. If you have it by any chance, could you share if you can run diagnostics with it (same like the demo), or only location/charge?

Sure, no problem at all!

I've ordered my TSx almost 3 weeks ago. I hope to get the bike soon. When I have it, and if I can connect my phone with the bike, I'll do a full review of the app. I'll make a video of it. Hopefully that will help you too 🙂

@themazedammit Hey man! Did you have the App module?
Got my TSX last weekend, sadly there is no Bluetooth module in there.
My dealer isn't close by sadly and also said he doesnt have much info on SS yet..... With the next maintenance call he'll let me know more he said.

Bummed out that i cannot connect it. No QR or IMEI to be found anywhere 🙁

@dasoka hi, it's sad to hear your TSX doesn't have the module. Which would mean that mine won't also be having a way to connect with my phone.... Im not willing to pay an extra 200/300 Euro's for a module that it supposed to be there in the first place. Can you tell me the name of your dealer?

@dasoka hey, I got my tsx today. What a beauty and great to ride. However..... no qr code or imei...I don't have the module to connect my phone to the bike. Its a shame. For the price of the bike you would  expect the module to be present in the bike..... too bad, huh?

@ghampi Thanks for that. I was able to install and use the Super Soco app from the Play store but since I noticed that my TC did not come with a comms module, it's not helping a lot 😛

Need to see how to get a comms module.
