Are the Bosch motors maintenance free? if not, are there any servicable parts within the hub that need maintaining or replacing?

Have tried to find some information about possible service needs but not found any facts on the Bosch sites

.

Most motors these days are either sealed or not serviceable. And a brushless motor does not have soft brushes inside that wears down to a lot of small particles/dust.

But som points to keep an eye on;

Bearings - they often is called "maintenance free" but if they run warm they can wear out in foretime, watch for noice.

Fasteners should be checked regularly. They take lots of vibration and will cause a big problem if they come free.

Debris- sealed or not - occasionally small stuff gets into the hubs. Disassembly and cleaning maybe needed after a couple of riding years?
