Hai Super Soco fans,

My name is Richard and I am joining the forum because of my interest in the Super Soco brand.

I now have a traditional scooter and I maybe want to go electric. The Super Soco bikes are looking great qua design. I live in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and I will use the bike for short distances between work and just driving through the city in my spare time.

I am reluctant of buying one straight away because I like to learn more about it from the users of the bike. I am looking at the cheapest model. 2.899,-

https://www.lasourisscooters.nl/winkel/scooters/super-soco-ts-deep-black/

I have a few questions:

*Do you think that all the kinks (kinderziektes) are out of it nowadays?

*What are the things that I must consider when buying one? Negative / positive?

*Where do you put your lock / chain? Is there enough space near the battery? When you have 2 batteries there is no room for a lock /chain I understand.

*How do you experience silent driving? Today for example it was really dark and busy on the bridge. So many bikers and scooters. Maybe they don't notice / hear me on the Super Soco and I think it can be dangerous.

*Accessories You must have on your Super Soco?

*Other tips?

Thanks in advance.

Richard

Hi welcome, I own a super soco ts since March this year I bought it at la souris Amsterdam;

*Do you think that all the kinks (kinderziektes) are out of it nowadays?

( The TS we have is eu certified so this has better quality than the Chinese TS they sell in China. The “kinks” are maybe low quality battery area so the plastic area box in the ts )

*What are the things that I must consider when buying one? Negative / positive?

Positive : it’s a great bike and gets a lot of attention because it’s actually an electric MOTORCYCLE, so it’s a really eye catcher. The bike is very lovely.

negative ; Maybe the range I would say is a negative thing, on summer months range is 50 km est. on 45 km/h. Winter months or cold days the range is about 42-45KM with speed of 45KM/h.

*Where do you put your lock / chain? Is there enough space near the battery? When you have 2 batteries there is no room for a lock /chain I understand.

(i have 2 batteries, but I always put one in my ts, above the battery there’s is plenty space for the chain so that’s not to worry. )

*How do you experience silent driving? Today for example it was really dark and busy on the bridge. So many bikers and scooters. Maybe they don't notice / hear me on the Super Soco and I think it can be dangerous.

(in dark areas the ts got a different headlamp ( koplamp) so the light will get their attention, otherwise drive on some moments on high beam which will attract attention. )

*Accessories You must have on your Super Soco?

( Maybe an phone holder ? )

*Other tips?

super soco and la souris got an great customer service so every problem you should bring it to la souris, but waiting time is long.

I have a portable padlock for the front disc, is room for that in the storage above the batterys.

There is also similar locks with a frame bracket/holder;
