Okay so nobody can tell me a definite answer. I will take this box apart and make a 12S or 13S battery from it and just ditch the BMS for a nice smart bms.
Also remove the connector and make a 3d printed adapter for a XT90 anti spark
Good luck. Just be careful as you know. Many times something like this problem has easy solutions. I always scream load when something is a easy fix.
I opened a TS battery once and it was pretty cool - almost like Tesla kind of quality build as the cells seemed to be welded by noise or vibrations-technology. A friend opened up one too which had some issues where one of the cell groups had a lose/arched series connections being intermittent.
