I did experience this issue on my TS, and yes this is a common issue unfortunately. But this is just in the warranty so that's good! 
I also did hear this a few times but not this fast 😕

as a tip, always check if the connector is fully in and doesn't make anymore resistance.

Does Simone know if the new socket is a better quality then the original?

Had contact with the dealer, they gonna pick the bike up in a few days for repair
