Parking mode side stand and right hands side button acting up

As the topic says. I feel lately that my bike is very slow moving from parking mode to the ready mode and for what I can remember it should be faster to switch between the modes.

May I have a cable acting up strangely upon me?

And if I would have would this kind of error which would mean that either right hand side button or the side stand sensor is acting up. Would these kind of errors come and go every second back and forth or would a fault here just make the bike a brick and not accept any input from the throttle for example.
