Hello, I own a Soco TSX

After looking around for so long and trying many things, i decided to just get one of those Woodniu, Soco like controlers, they are pretty much a Fardriver 72240 custom made to plug and play into the Soco, they've blutooth and Autolearn. Instalation is dumb simple. I've 2 original batteries, but the Y cable died on me so all the tests are performed on 1 battery only at a time. (The woodniu rep told me if i had a working Y cable from soco i could do 50Amps instead of just 40A)

Results,

Before:

Acceleration was sluggish (specially on my 130/70/17s), Im also 95Kg, the bike did pick up at around 30kph but then it was slow to increasing speed after 58kph.

Top speed was 66kph on favorable conditions on flat roads.

After the 72300 (bought a stronger one because I plan to keep upgrading the bike further in the future, the 72240 version is enough for anyone else)

Acceleration is 25% stronger, smooth and it feels almost as fast as the TC MAX (to be tested)from 0-45kph,  power is good from the start all the way to 65kph.

Top speed is about 72kph (still to be gps tested).

All this while still on 1 battery and limited to 40Amps / 160PAmps.

It came calibrated and well packaged, they include the security screws/key and a plate.

Now, price is much higher than a regular 70A controller, but you don't have to modify anything, just unplug original one, and put this one in. No cable cutting, no finding a place to put it under the battery or anything. Speedo/bms/lights/error codes/everything works just as if you had an original one.

Note: Just as you're pushing more powers and increasing acceleration, you also drain the battery a bit faster than usual, so keep this in mind if range is an issue for you.

I'll update results for when i fix or buy a new Y cable to put both batteries in parallel and set max Amps to 50.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions.

do you have a guide on how to program the controller? from the video, the app looks to be in chineese, and i'm afraid to brake my new bike. (i have ordered the 72240 controller, as i dont want it to go any faster than 70km/h or there about)

Cool!

Im also looking for the possibility to upgrade the controller to the Woodniu 72240 for the greater speed as I’d like to not be run over..

Are the controllers truly plug-and-play, or is there any configuration needed for it to operate how it’s supposed to?

And how is the bike responding to the increase in amperage etc. I’ve heard rumors of different parts of the wires etc melting with the increase in power.

hope to hear from you soon, and looking forward to updates on this thread as I just bought myself a TSX!

When i bought it mine came pre configured by the seller, he asked me what model i had and if i had 2 batteries and a paralleler (i do) so he set my Line Amps to 50 and Phase Amps to 180.

If i was going to use just one battery then he suggested 40A main, 150 PhaseA.
