Has anyone got any update as to the Software/Firmware update for the Super Soco TC -

I saw a German youtube video where the gentleman said it solved a lot of problems with the so called 'turbo lag' and other performance issues.

I got some info from the local importer in Belgium. He's expecting a shipment with new controlers end of next month and they should have all the updates. He didn't make any promises and will have to test first before it can be confirmed but it looks good.

He is also expecting the module to connect the app ? But again he wants to test for himself before releasing to dealers and customers.

Good news. Hope they will roll out new controllers to the older bikes, as a sign of goodwill.

There are three issues that were reported

1. The topspeed with open throttle get's less when the battery-charge diminishes. So when your battery runs down the topspeed will be less than 45km/h.

2. The throttle response is very nervous. It's difficult to maintain the same speed.

3. The "turbo-lag". As reported above, the throttle doesn't react after the "regeneration" process.

The new software-update for the controler should have solved these issues. And except for the throttle respons (2) they are. The way the update is done seems very simple, via USB.

This is in brief what is told in the video.

As I wrote on my previous post, my dealer will replace my old controler with a new one when it is avaible and the two reported issues 1 and 3) should be resolved.

Apparently the new controler should be able to connect via Bluetooth ans that measn the APP will work... Let's wait and see.

I also get a new alarm because mine was too sensistive. This is also a known problem and new alarms are on the way from China.

I'll keep you up-to-date on the progress...

Weird they'd list battery % going down as a problem. Every li-ion battery I've driven on has had the same situation. NIU specifically can go 55 factory from 100% battery, but goes down to ~52-54 at 60-95% battery, and it keeps going down from there. Isn't soco the same? Top battery% is faster than the factory displayed speed, lower battery% is factory displayed speed. Extreme low battery has a limiter. NIU is sub 10% battery limited to 19km/h.

Time to ask my local shop here too about this too. That's great news.

I experience it also as a problem. Even with the delimited version. When I'm driving in "first gear" the bike is limited to 45km/h which is perfect and I want to keep this speed even when the battery % goes down. At least until it's 35% or so..;

I dont believe the connector is going to have the bleutooth module.

There is a special connection för that.
