Hello everyone,
I recently got back my Super Soco TS from the dealership for some maintenance. Afterwards, it functioned properly and the battery drainage seemed to have shrunk immensely (which might also be related to accelerating less).
Now, here's the thing: when I drove my bike the last couple of days, at a certain point (each time around 60-70 percent I believe), the power output went, all of the sudden (while still driving), down to almost zero (two visible bars of the power output). Now, not only is this annoying, it is also very dangerous. When driving on a 50 km/h road and the power drops so that I can only go 10-12 km/h, well, God knows what might happen.
The issue gets resolved for a small amount of time (I'd say 3-5 minutes) when I press the OFF button and switch it ON again immediately after. Then, it suddenly happens again. The mode I'm in does not matter.
Could this be due to a software update? I think my dealer performed a software update on the bike. Also, where I live (in The Netherlands), it is currently quite hot. When I drove today for about 40 minutes in 30 degrees celcius, it happened. Could the battery have overheated?
I would appreciate any tips/experiences. I will contact my dealer tomorrow, maybe he can help me further.
Thanks in advance,
Luuk
Hello Kamuji,
Thank you for the reply.
I went to my dealer today and explained the issue. They installed the most recent firmware again. I went for a drive around there to see if the problems were gone, but they were not.
So, I went back to the dealer. They gave me a new battery to see if that would fix it. It still didn't.
They are going to look into the issue, as they have heard these issues from more customers. My bike will be there for (I think) some days or a week.
It might be good for you to know that the battery did not cause my issues, it is probably still software or something else.
I will keep you posted!
Kind regards,
Luuxter
Hi @kamuji!
I picked up my scooter today. While I was told the problem was fixed, it still persisted...
I just sent an e-mail to their customer service and am really, really hoping to get a better response than last time.

Luuxter
Hello Luuxter,
Mij bike stopt suddenley with code 98 . Yes it was hot last week in Holland.
After waiting some time it started again and I drove the last km home.
I read the manual it said probebly overheated.
When I try to load the battery I could not put the connector out of the battery.
This morning the shop mechanic came at home to repair it.
He did not succeed ,in the batterij is a connector that was burnt out .
The bike TC is 4wk old and drove 300km. He toke it with him to the repair shop.
