Yesterday I rode my TC with a full battery for about 5 minutes. About an hour later I wanted to ride it again but it had no power. No lights lit up, the TC was completely dead.

I took my multimeter and measured the battery and it measured 68.7V (or thereabouts). I also measured for continuity between the positive terminal on the battery connector and the kill switch, and the negative terminal and a ground wire, and that was good. But oddly enough, when I connected the battery, I measured 0V between ground and the "always hot" side of the kill switch.

I'm not sure how the BMS inside the battery works, but could it be it cuts power when it detects a short? Something is cutting the connection otherwise I wouldn't measure 0V between ground and the kill switch.

Is the connection between the battery plug (positive wire) and the kill switch a direct one? Or does it first pass other electronics?

Problem has been solved! I had spoken with someone here on the forum who had the same problem and in his case it turned out to be a defective alarm. So I got myself a used alarm module and after replacing the alarm, power was back!

The only thing is that now my TC sounds like Windows. I get all kinds of melodies when I arm/disarm the alarm, and when I power on/off the TC... 😀
