Tire size and compatibility

All,

Hi, I've never changed tires on motorcycle, so this might sound stupid. I would like to put 'Pirelli Angel City' tires on my TC, but I'm confused about the tires specs.

I'm looking for Pirelli Angel City 90/80 - 17 (front) and 110/70 - 17 (rear) based on TC's Technical Specifications. Finding an exact size for front wheel tire is not a problem, BUT there seems to be no 110/70 - 17 (rear) only 110/70 - 17 (front).

Why is that? Does it really matter (front/rear)? Should I look for different size for rear wheel on TC?

Can somebody clarify? Thanks a lot!

I have Michelins and both - also the rear one - are marked as "front". I think the only important thing is that the size is correct. Beware. On the rear wheel bigger tires DO NOT FIT due to space restriction of the frame.
