I just bought a salvage super soco cux and got it running again ( had just some lose wires so it was a great deal) but I’m unable to switch from eco mode. I tested the switch and that is working and I measured the voltage on the blue black (low speed) wire coming from the ecu and that has ~3v and the blue red wire (high speed) has 0. I also tried attaching the high speed wire to the low speed but it hasn’t worked. Anyone a clue what the issue might be.
You followed the wires back to the controller and checked there is continuity? If your getting 0v on the high speed sounds like there’s and break somewhere. Sounds like the switch grounds the signal for the controller to sense which mode you want.
Yes, I just checked again and both wires low and highspeed wires have continuity. So could it be something in the ecu then. Or maybe I'm checking the wrong wires, because when I put a break in the low speed wire nothing changes and when I connect the low speed wire with the highspeed wire going to the controller still nothing changes.
This is weird. My CUx (already sold) always started in mode 2 when I disconnect the battery. Then I can switch it to 1 or 3 with the right switch. But even off/on on the breaker puts the bike to 2 mode.
