Hi all,
I have some noob questions regarding the Y-cable set up. So I'm assuming this addition allows you to connect both batteries simultaneously but just to clarify it's purpose:
1. Does it draw power from both batteries during use? (or just deplete one at a time)
2. Related question; if so, can it simultaneously charge both batteries while the charger is attached to the outer socket.
3. Are there any significant benefits i.e. increased power output, speed, torque etc.?
4. Are there any problems with this additions i.e. overheating, increased strain on the motor?
5. Lastly, is this product available in China?..I can't seem to find it anywhere on taobao/bappals, only European sites at this stage.

I found some info on a german forum site, (understand some..) paste it into Google translate

The switch seems to power from a battery for 15 seconds, then switches to the next and so on.., either the same when charging.
I'd rather have put the money on an extra charger and emptied one battery at a time. Stopping and moving the cable to the second battery is no worse than switching to the reserve mode on a gas tank!
The german forum is not sure wheather the load is switching from battery to battery.
They are however very sure, that the 15 second switching is meant for the display of the actual soco. Every 15 seconds the charge indicator changes between the two batteries, to let you know how much charge every single battery has.
Found another strange Y-cable on orangebc.com first time I visit this page they have the black cable on the picture, now it is changed to the 3x XT60 connectors, wrong picture or cant be meant to open both batterys and hooked up internally!?
The german description says: "- Bild ist nur beispielhaft - "
Which means the picture is just an example. It could look different.
189€ for a cable that simple would be really expensive.
