the text editor on this forum is very buggy, it likes to move words and the cursor around randomly

(also the time out for editing is a bit short, it is worth letting people edit posts for longer, so that explanations can be as clear as possible, and calculations can be corrected if needed, so that posts arent misleading)

Also good idea to give more time to edit!
there is another strange bug, which prevents cut and paste, if you select a whole section of text and cut it, it cancels the selection and deletes the last character of the text, and doesn't copy the text, only the last character
i have seen these bugs before, but I can't remember the solution unfortunately lol i think I may have just used a different editor
can i suggest option for a non rich text editor? usually there is a switch that allows users to disable the rich text editor in wordpress; my browser is constantly making a mess when i type (for eg it likes to suddenly replace a word i am currently typing, with a copy of the previous word)

i don't tend to use formatting anyway, if its needed, the codes are simple to remember
