So i have replaced a damaged hall sensor with some generic ss41f hall sensors i got online. The 1st time it didnt seem to have enough energy or was possibly installed incorrectly and might of been damaged being put inbetween the metal plates. So i tried a 2nd hall sensor with a better installation and solder techniques. A little messy, but seemed to actually go all the way through. But this time, it remains illuminated and will not turn of on the tester. Could someone assist me with this issue? Did i install it the wrong direction? Was i to rough shoving it in its place? Is it the wire instead of the hall sensor itself?
Also, is it possible i got the wrong hall sensor? I was not able to read the code on the original due to the damage so if anyone knows the code for the hall sensor in the middle (yellow) please let me know!
