Hey there folks,
I just took delivery of my new Super Soco TC a week ago. I had a bugger of a time registering it through ICBC b/c the broker was not too smart to say the least. Anyhow I purchased it from KGEEZ cycle in Victoria who is a Motorino supplier and the experience was pretty good. Kelly (owner) is a pretty descent dude and has been doing electric bikes/scooters for a few years already.
I bought a second battery for those long days of riding/commuting, but I was told (by Motorino and Kelly) that the dual battery parallel module is no longer available for the newer bikes. I was advised that the batteries do not like to be used in parallel due to an internal controller/chip for each battery? This is a bit of a downer as I was hoping to use both batteries at once to not fuss with swapping when one is drained. Any truth to this?
Secondly, I was watching a video on how to "flip" the plug so that the internal storage tray could stay in place when I need to swap to the second battery. I tried to do this, but it seems that the plug is glued, or stuck in place somehow. I DO NOT want to force it due to warranty etc. Any ideas guys?
Cheers!
Congrats on your new bike! I bought my TC from Motorino (Vancouver) in October. That experience was NOT very good for a number of reasons, but I'm really happy with the bike itself.
That's crappy news about the battery splitter. I was totally about to order one, but now I think I'll just hold off. Stopping to swap battery leads is a pain though.
I haven't heard of "flipping" the plug. I wouldn't mess with the connectors unless I really had to. There's a lot of current involved, and it would be so easy to brick the bike.
I'm a new owner - Bought lightly used from dealership.
I have no QR code or any way to connect to app?!?
Any help at all?
