Hi! I've researched for quote a while and also wrote a mail to the official vendor (german office) but still awaiting an answer.
I've seen videos with TC Maxes with the classic clicking sound when turning. I want this back as I am one of many who tend to forget to turn it off and the manual reset to middle position adds to that as well. I'd prefer not to have to rely on 3rd party equip and I could only find beepers but no clicking sound devices. Anyone has experience with that?
Just replace the turn signal relay with a relay that clicks.
@lhk Easier said than done. Someone needs to do this for me and no workshop does electric bikes here. I am the first (and probably still the only) customer who bought an electric bike from him :/ That's why I am asking here if someone has done this before and knows what parts I'd need.
@xshunin it’s a three pin indicator relay. You pull the old one off the connector and shove a new one on. If the pin layout is different unpin the connector and plug the new one in. The circuit for the indicators is identical to that of an ice bike so any mechanic will be able to do it for you if you can’t do it yourself.
@xshunin you can always wire in a small buzzer in parallel with and indicator so that it buzzes with the flashing of the lights. Probably the easiest solution.
