Hello

I'm thinking of buying a tc-max, I haven't seen any yet, but I've seen a TS at the dealership. I think TC-max is the same size as TS, and it seems really small, very small.

I am 1.85 m tall and weigh 85 kg, and I doubt I could ride a TS with a passenger in the back, something I do almost every day.

Is this bike big enough for two people?

Thank you

IMHO - TCmax is pure 1 rider bike. Especially for taller ones (I am 2 m).

Possibly some very small couple can ride but still seat is just short - like for 1.5 person or comfortable for a taller rider who needs to seat a bit back.

Me, 70kg plus one passenger extra 100kg and clothes is alot or too much for standard suspension on the Soco TS. I have managed it at 30 and 50km/h but it feels bad or slow. I would guess maximum weight for two people are two small young people together at 100-120kg total weight.

I'm 1,78m and 70kg and look big if I look on the reflections of myself riding my Soco

- Wrroooooming

but I love my Soco alot!

I am 2 m tall. I do not look at photos. Accept max 80-85 km/h. And still enjoy riding. Yes - in future I would like to get a bigger one with min 10-11 kW engine. For me would fit better. But up to what market offers - TCmax gives me ride and fun.

Hi Doc

I have not problem with limited velocity or power, I drive very easy. My problem is one of "space", I drive with a passanger daily, and I don't see there enough room for two people.

Neither do I. In your situation it looks there are 2 options:

1. Check if there are other options. In my range if I expect shop and service in my country for light e-motor I do not have other options equivalent to TCmax. Maybe you have more options around in Canada.

2. So you may wait or try to maintain custom longer seat. Unfortunately for TC/TCmax you may only order original 1.5x or 1 person only. So if you need longer - you need someone to make one for you. It should be possible and safe if you look at back seat holder mount. Or even check how back rack is mounted.

Sure suspension could be harder. And seat higher. But for rather short distances - it works fine enough. In fact - it is light cafe racer style. So for more space - we would need e-choppers. ;-]

Btw - I tried Zero DSX seat. It is higher but too tide for my big.... backside - so I prefer open, simple cafe racer style seat of TCmax which offers me to seat a bit more to back and keep more space in front. ;-]= I am sure you know what I mean. Still - harder suspension option would be nice.

And yes - our weight and a larger figure (which creates more resistance for the wind) means more work to be done to drive with you or me on board. Real, safe range for mode 3 (typical on my way) is 60-70 km. And max speed hardly reaches 80 km/h. On straight road going a bit low I can see 85 km/s. But reality for me (I am bigger then you) is 70-75 km/h. So for its engine - distance and max speed are lower then for standard drivers.

But still - even if I cannot reach max speed - it offers pretty nice ride from suburbs for its price and.... in my country standard car driving license needed.

Anyway - my friends say - you will always need to upgrade to faster and more powerfull motorcycle when you buy your first one. ;-] So TC max is really nice choice. Especially when you start everyday driving on 2 wheels. Is it a lifetime choce for big driver. I suppose that I will look for something bigger next year or in 2 years. Just to feel a bit less like pandta on e-bike. ;-] But so far - TCmax makes my drives to work happy time.

Enjoy @de_svenne ;-]=
