I have a problem charging the battery. If I plug it into the side socket, the charger changes color from red to green and does not charge anything.
If I connect it directly to the battery it does charge but the charger makes a lot of noise, I guess because of the fan. Is this normal?

If you're charging from the side of the bike I think you might need to turn off the isolator switch first.
Yah, the fan on the charger is really loud
I had to manually switch from transport charger cable to the on-board solution. First I thought I always have to switch the cable for the external port to work. But no, under the seat I had to switch the cable. Maybe check there if you are connected.
I didn't try to charge outside yet, will do with good weather, it's also the smoothest solution.
I would rather not remove the battery every night.
