Hi all, I was having the problem mention in the title of this topic after the bike had been in heavy rain overnight under a tarp. After trying various things i suspected the power button itself to be at fault. It is a bit of a faf to remove the power button as to get at it you have to remove the seat then both sides fairings and then the plastic cowling containing the button. I then unplugged the button at the connector pressed the unlock button on the fob and shorted out the white/blue wire with the orange wire at the connector where the powerbutton plugs in (Carefully with an insulated screwdriver making sure i didn't accidentally short out any other wires). This fired up the bike which confirmed to me that it was the powerbutton that was at fault. I could actually hear the moisture inside the button when i pressed it hard. I then dried the button out by the fire (you could put it in a bowl of rice overnight or use a hairdryer). It then worked as it should when i put it back. I am glad i managed to fix this but really super soco should have done a better job at waterproofing this bike! I also found quite a pool of collected rainwater under the seat almost deep enough to short out the charging socket which could be real dangerous. To stop this happening again i drilled 2 drainage holes in the plastic which allows it to drain when on the side stand which i highly recommend doing as a safety precaution. See photos
