Hi guys,

I’m experiencing an odd issue with my Ts1200R (milage 3400km). The battery level shows 0% and it keeps blinking although the battery is fully charged and the motocycle works perfectly fine. I checked the connection between the battery and the black cable but didn’t see anything suspicious. I also removed the controller to check some connector but nothing weird either. By the way the display shows the speed, odo and temperature Normally.

Only battery status does not work!

if anyone has experienced that or has any suggestion, that will be really appreciated 😀

cheers

Didier

Hi,

This is happening to my TC too.  Does your problem happen all the time or intermittently?  From what I've read so far, I think it may be one of the tiny wires in the battery cable not connecting properly?

Is everything else on your bike working OK? Speed display ok? Has the connector been replaced, or does it get hot at all?

@whiskeyonesix, hi! Thanks for your reply. Everything else works perfectly well on the Nike. I checked the wires and also push it fermely but the problem relations the same. I suspected the BMS so I unpluged it for about 3h to try to reset it but it not resolve the issue... I think it is causes by the controller!

Did you solve your issue ?

In general it's the connector to battery... push it more firmly, or remove it and push it back.

Please let us know if you solve it this way. Otherwise it may be more than this.

@alexaraducristian hi, actually it is not the cable so either the BMS or the controller. I ordered a New controller, I will receive it tomorrow, so I will let you know...

Hey I have the exact same behavior im my TC (11,000 km).

I suspect the BMS is failing. It is the part responsible for calculating the SOC (state of charge)

I'm talking with the dealer, will update.

Hi there,

i have the same problem with my TC (+/- 1 y old and 2k km's)... sometimes displays shows 0% (battery is charged and bike drives perfect..)

this is not always the case, somtimes the display is ok and correct battery display is shown. after differt tests, i'm pretty sure the cable is correctly connected to the battery.

i hope your problems are solved, can to tell me (and my dealer..) what was needed to fix it?

thx & kind regards,

Kim
