Since I got my TSx last month I've been taking the battery inside to charge overnight and the charging cable has always been a little tight when taking it out.

I got home tonight and was going to bring the battery inside to charge but can't remove the orange cable. It is stuck soooo tight, feels like it has been welded on and there is not even enough give on it to wiggle loose.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and found an easy way to get the battery disconnected?

Thanks

Aaron

On a french forum, there were people having some similar issues. It looks like the connector is not firmly enough into the plug, and it leads to an electric arc that welded it. I think you should call your reseller, because that's probably something covered by the warranty.

@lazybear thank you, that sounds like what has happened with mine. I've called the dealer and they'll try to figure it out

I know people with the ts have this problem,

I was kinda hoping it wont Happen with the tsx anymore. What can we do to prevent it?

Make sure it has a good connection.

How about Spray it with some electronics connection Spray?

@downwind_lee can you give more details about the spray you are talking about? (name, price, where to find it)

@alexaraducristian

Well i was thinking about simple electronics contact Spray Like:

https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Electronics-Protection-Engineering-Connections-Preservation/dp/B016GX8X62

I think its Just called contact Spray.

There is also a Spray for the Car battery.

Its more a Grease Type i think.

Both protect from corrosion but also strenghen the connection

Its max 5-10€ and you can buy it almost everywhere..

This is the reason why Super Soco build the v2 round contact points.

Can  you take a picture to see the conector shape, the pins that it has and the state of power pins?
