Well the title says it all, I crashed my bike. Luckily only minor damage. Left brake, handle and foot peg got some scratches and took the whole hit.

You were lucky, road looks very slippery.

Could have been alot worse, but glad you're OK!

Yes thanks, I knew it was slippery and thought I would be a good time to test emergency brake. Stupid idea but lesson learned. Firstly I won't use CBS if slippery. I guess the bike had not dropped if I would have braked with rear brake only, but sliding would have been different I guess. Maybe uncontrollable too. I guess the lesson here is don't do emergency braking unless there is a real emergency. Also I would say that I pulled the brake lever too hard. Even for emergency. Since I'm a beginner rider I'm still learning. I guess I could have anticipated that both wheels slide once the wheels stop moving. The brakes are very good on the bike.

That was a lucky catch to keep yourself upright. Grab yourself some riding gloves to protect your hands just in case you did hit the tarmac.
tbh any bike breaking on wet leaves is going to be slippery, ABS would help but unfortunately we don’t get that luxury. Glad the bike isn’t also too damaged, always a learning curve.

Hmm, well, you shouldn't have used both brakes, it made your front wheel lock up and just the ABS to save you there
