Hello,

Any one of you use a bike/dash cam on your Super Soco?  If so, what brand/model and how do you like the system you're using?  Also did you invest in a dual (front & rear) camera setup?

Thank you.

I use a GoPro Hero5 Session.  Mounted on my handlebar of my e-bike.a

I am wanting to have a rear camera setup as well.  But not sure if having another Hero5 session mounted on the back is a good idea.  As I need seperate MicroSD cards, charging is seperate as well.

  • Another member confirmed out brake/signal lights are a 12v system.  So I've been looking to see what options motorcycles have for hardwiring a dual camera setup (front & rear camera) with continuous pwr fed from the brake light.  Just want to have that as piece of mind.

Perhaps you could install this USB socket instead of attaching to the lights?

A great suggestion Ajpegg.

I use my GoPro Hero5 session in the car (as a dash cam) with a USB cable tucked around the dash, A-pillar and to my rearview mirror area.

My only problem with this setup on the soco is the USB port on the Hero5 is open (to insert the USB cable) and water will enter the unit.

I'll try to locate bike cams that are waterproof and can accept 5v USB pwr at the same time.

I use this, which is a Roadhawk Ride (branded as dogcam which no longer exists).

I have a USB cable which I simply plug into a portable power pack in my pocket. Really simple,

Unfortunately I don’t think this camera exists any more - I’ve been trying to find it on www.roadhawk.co.uk but there’s no sign of it, which is a shame as it’s a great camera and very high quality.
