Hi everyone,
i just bought a Super Soco TC, and i noticed that 50% of the time when i am driving full power, and have to brake and then accelerate again, the throttle does not respond for 3-5 seconds.
At the moment that the throttle does not respond, it flashes a “out of gas” icon on the display. Which turns off after a few seconds at which the throttle responds fully again.
i have read on this forum something about a “turbo lag” being a common problem. Could this problem be it?
Is there perhaps something i can do to fix this?
Noticed as well that the bike only charges up to 97%. I am using a single battery. Not sure if it might be related to the problem.
Thank you in advanced!
The so called "turbo lag" is on every super soco when you drive a single bagttery setup. I have since a few weeks two batteries + paralleler and it all works fine now. As long as I know there is no fix with one battery.
The charging problem I don't have a clue. Go to the dealer and hopefully they can fix that problem.
if the charger only reaches 69.7 V then the BMS of the battery reports less than 100%. There is really no much difference between 97% and 100% (100% = 69.9V ~ 70.0 V). It is totally OK if your charger charges to 97%. At the end it is healthier for your battery. If you want a long lasting battery avoid charging above 90%.
We all suffer from this issue David90, the throttle and motor controller urgently need an upgrade.
my dealer recommends to recharge the battery before it reaches 25%. But then fully charge it. Just make sure you charge the battery when you're going to use it "immediately". This doesn't mean the next day or so but preferably not to long after.
