The Super Soco TC just dies when riding it and the charging symbol is lit. All power to the engine disappears for 4-5 seconds and then it comes back again. It repeats every 3-10min. I have 2 batteries and the problem occurs  on both of them. I do not use the battery parallell cable. Its usually ok if you are driving straight but when power disapears when you are turning it could even kill you!

During summer 2018 I bought the Super Soco TC from AVON motorcycles in the UK. At the first test run it showed what I think is problems with the batteries. I have been in contact with AVON motorcycles several times about the problem but I have not yet gotten any reply with a solution. The last 4 months I have called them and sent several e-mail but they do not reply back to me as they have promised. In the beginning before I bought the TC they were very helpful but I feel that their service has turned really bad and that I will not get any help from them.

Have also sent mail to info@horwin.eu but without any answer.

Can anyone please help me or tell me were to get help?

Known issue. The bike is going in to regen mode. You can get it to do it if you drive along at full speed, let go of the throttle and then reapply it a few mm. the bike will then regen all the way down to the new slower speed. Not ideal but hey nothing we can do!

This is weird and I don't like it I feel like the Regen should be tied into your breaks being engaged through the break light pin. Not if no power is supplied it goes to Regen so annoying

I’ve got the same issue with my TC. Bought it second hand from someone who got it from Avon motorcycles and I get the regen process happening which I didn’t know if it was normal or not at the start. Definitely wanting to get rid of this. Where do you plug in to connect to the controller?

What can you do to stop/prevent this "regen" from occurring like this?

You could ask your dealer for a new controller with updated software. I’ll have mine shortly. Or you could do a software update. Check also the post on updating the controller. You can change a lot of the settings if you are handy.

I’d love to know how to reprogram the controller. I’ve seen a video but no one has explained where the connector or adaptor comes from. No info online either 🙁

You can avoid regen with the Y paralleler box from Outdoordreams. No more regen bug. We are happy with it. We found the regen bug quite dangerous. It's gone.

Be careful updating your controller, on the french market the newer controller firmware is limited to 38 Amps instead of 40 Amps. So less acceleration, less hill climbing and no more unrestricted 60+ km/h.

I find it lasts for a count of 3 seconds, and I've just got used to it.

It seems to happen (for me) only when the throttle is closed, and usually after I've been over a bump.

Thank you, I will try that solution. It feels vierd that everyone just accepts this problem, it could even be deadly in a bad situation. Even worse is that Soco doesnt seem to have any will to solve the problem. 🙁
