I only have the most basic traffic insurance covering my liabilities to others.

However price is 240€ yearly going to 160€ for next year 2020

£660 from Lexham for TC Max. Cambridgeshire countryside. CBT only; 48yrs old with 26 years driving a car; 15 yrs no claims. Hoping it will be less with a full motorcycle license next year. Turned down by all other insurance companies 

I had to go with Lexhams. Almost no other companies deal with the TC MAX. TC - no problems. Max? No. It seems its too new for them. Something Vmoto should be sorting out. Like the app. They seem to be a bit too laid back. 🙁

I already have motorbike insurance, with Carole Nash, but because they don't know about TC Maxes, I couldn't add it. So I had to start a completely new policy with no NCB. I haven't got a garage so its chained to a Sold-Secure ground anchor out the front of our house. £450 TPFT. Fully comp was out of the question. Even TPFT hurt. I'm waiting for this Autumn when I can consolidate them all onto one policy using my 15+ years NCB. Most likely with Lexhams.

lexham are a good company anyway, my insurance with them for my TS fell sharply the first 2 years

I don't know what's wrong in your countries... I also have the most basic insurance for the case I cause troubles to others... and it's ~20 € / year 🙂

We have also expensive cars, with similar costs for repairs like in all other countries in Europe. I assume the insurance is 90% salaries and bonuses of those representatives of insurance companies.
