Hi guys, hope you can help. I'm new to Super Soco, and I've found it difficult to find information online, nor do I find that the customer support are particularly keen on answering questions, I guess we can forgive them during Coronavirus 😉

I'm wondering if it's possible to routinely remove both batteries from CPX (or other twin battery models) and it not cause any issues with the bike ? I'm imagining I might do this before a long commute in the worst of the winter cold

I couldn't work out if the bike has an auxiliary 12v battery to support systems on the bike ? I magine you have no alarm if the  main batteries are removed ?

Also.... in the case that the CPX does have an auxiliary 12v battery, where is it ?

Many Thanks for your help and advice

Hi carpetpaul and wellcome to CPX world! 😀

I think our CPX hasn't any 12v battery cause this voltage could obtain from main battery. Battery controller could give several voltages as the rest of the components needs. Also my dealer told me that alarm and all electronic components will be miss when battery where disconected.

Moreover I found a little information in user manual about battery storing. I attach here as image. Its a screen capture from user manual obtained in app.

I hope resolve any of your doubts and explain myself 🙄

Perfect, thank you for your reply. I also spoke to the dealer and he said they leave their bike batteries disconnected, so I think I’m ok to keep both of my batteries warm in the house during the coldest months, I’m hoping that will help my maximum range
