The other day day I tried to flip over the power socket on the battery for adding a second battery the correct way. The socket is really glued down in its case and the socket cracked. Its an orignal battery and I can still use the battery but did not manage to turn it around without totally destroying the socket. I know that I can order a new socket.
Has anyone else this problem and what is the best way to get the socket out?
I also have a problem (like many other) with my front disc rubbing against the disc. I have cleaned the pistons, sanded the pads but it is still making that awful noise. That cant be correct even if many says it is designed that way. Any solution for this?
You need vetalyed disks
Yes, buying ventilated disks stopped the constant rubbing EXCEPT in a heavy rain.
Other than that... silence.
This is my setup
AKcnd disks, standard TC calipers and pads.
I think it was my 1st mod because I was going crazy
You need to cut under the socket thru the glue, when you do this in like 2/3 circumference slide something under the rim and gently pry off. You should have socked with silicon gasket around it popped out. If you can't or don't want to risck damage, try to place Y cable box on the left side.
Brake squeak will go with time, but brake upgrade is good idea. As changing stock tires, they have quiet high glass-rubber transition temperature.
