Well topspeed shouldn't change much really if you don't increase the voltage, but more amps gives u better acceleration, and that's what makes it fun ...

Those looks like panasonic NCR cells, same type of text on them, if the have a black tip at the + end they probably are, i think i can read NCR on one...
