My commute is over a very low traffic road without lightposts through the woods: In short it is very, very dark. The backlight of the CPX dash switches on automatically in low light conditions (why??). It is way too bright and ruins my night vision.
Is there a way to turn it off? I don't need it anyway, so a permanent solution would be fine.

Yes, that's really crap, I use a blue foil when riding at night, which I then stick on it... great solution for a €6000 bike i know but i dont fount a better one ... anyone solve it?
