Hello people.

I use my TS1200R (with 30Ah battery) in the city and these days there is a lot of dense traffic. So I play a lot with the "throttle" and I noticed that if you are in a speed ie 40km/h in mode 2(normal) and lower your input it will try to regen. Usually I turn off the "throttle" and turn it to 1/3 and it will try to regen. There are times, however, that somehow it will get locked in regen mode and when you try to accelerate it will CONTINUE to brake and regen although I am in FULL "throttle". It needs a couple of seconds in order to get back to normal. So I guess the activation has something to do with a specific area of the "throttle" input.

To enhance the regen effect further I turn it to mode 1(eco) and play with the "throttle" input whenever that is possible. So far there was ONLY one time that it actually raised the battery level 1%. It was going from 57 to 56% and it went to 57% again but I guess that it was actually 57 to 56.99 so it had the tiny bit it needed to go back to 57.

I think we should tell the chinese to change the whole regen activation and use the brake instead of the "throttle". Furthermore a 30% engine brake would be adequate for stop and go traffic and would improve the range significantly. Also the downhills would be safer with that.

What do the rest think?

Hi all. Ive had a bit of a search but I can find what Im looking for regarding regen. In my Super soco TC the regen happens often at bad places where I need acceleration, on roundabouts etc. Does anyone know if its possible to do away with regen completely?
