Is your bike's software changed ? Very well possible it's caused by overcurrent protection in that case...

@rzee i haven't changed anything on the bike unless it updates its self it done it the first time just before the first service at 200 miles  now it seems to happen every time i go out when I'm on my way home and the battery is around 60%

I bought my TC Max three weeks ago and regularly get the check engine symbol and battery light flashing at me if I use full throttle for more than a few seconds.

It's not normally an issue other than I live on the top of the North Downs and need to use full throttle (or close to it) riding up Reigate Hill.

I presume it's a warning that the power delivery will cause an issue if continued full throttle is used so gently back off and it goes away.

I've been meaning to go back to the dealer to ask him about it, but haven't had the spare time as yet.

Might the throttle handle be faulty? Turning too much so too high current from throttle handle? Is throttle handle firmly on handle bar? Maybe remove throttle handle, clean inside, no dust etc, refasten. Not a sure answer but worth a try. Solved several error codes on my TC Max.
