If I understand Taobao right so is the buying in two steps, Taobao order your stuff from a store in China, for a fixed price and shipping you can see before putting your order.
When package arrives to Taobao, you have to pay their calculated shipping to Europe that could be much higher...
I will recommend Aliexpress.com instead, more reliable and their stores ship directly to Europe with DHL, Fedex, TNT.. also, the selling stores at Aliexpress will not get payed for the Aliexpress site until you have get your delivery and accept it as recieved and OK.
Unfortunately, the supply of super soco gadgets is still small, but it's getting more and more.

I have bought several lithium batteries there for other electric vehicles, if you are comfortable plugging in a second battery in parallel with the original, this batteries does not cost half of the original!

no, you are not right, taobao is consumer-to-consumer platform, they doesn't order anything. I wouldn't buy a battery on aliexpress, it isn't known from what elements it is assembled. FYK, the original battery has BMS with CAN bus, so the non-original battery will work, but range and SOC will be undefined.
Guys with serious prices as these you should only buy batteries who are EU certificed and have guarantee on it. Otherwise I wouldn’t spend a dime on it! It’s for your own good. You don’t know what “cheap” batteries they used.
I have bought several lithium batterys on Ali, for example, my Oset trial bike (converted from lead-acid batterys) is running its third year with a 20Ah 48V lithium battery that costed less than 300€ on Ali, check for sellers that offers quality cells!
As on most online markets you must have a good knowledge about what you are buying, if you had that, you can calculate the setup of a battery, for example setup is stated; 7P13S (91 cells totally, 7 parallel with 13 series) then weight shall be ~4000g just for the cells, add weight for BMS and cover. Same comparision can be done to calculate if the battery has japaneese cells or chineese cells according to how many cells that are needed to get the stated Ah (for exampe 20Ah)
An average genuine 18650 batterie will weigh about 45g and no nothing less than 42g. A chineese 18650 battery can weight 32g or less.Some genuine 18650 battery can weigh more than 50g. Good brands will tell you the weight of the battery.
There are four companies that produce good quality 18650 cells: Samsung, Sanyo, Sony and LG.They can have a confirmed capacity up to 3400mAh. Cheep chinese cells have around 2000-2500mAh.
