The lighting on the dashboard of our CUX has become much dimmer than normal and is now very hard to see in all except night conditions. Is there a way this can be adjusted? I may have inadvertently pressed buttons to do this, however cannot find any instructions anywhere.

Thank you,

Philip

Dear RZEE,

Looking at page 16 it only seems to mention the lights being checked, which they were at a recent MOT. The 'dashboard' lights work, however very dimly - just like when you put on the headlights in a car, the screen darkens...

Any idea of where I can check for a fault or setting?

Thank you.

There's a light sensor on the dash. In daylight the brightness is very high, when it's dark (at night or tunnel), the display dims. It sounds like the sensor is not working correctly. Do you see a change when you cover the sensor? I think it's in the bottom row (where the status lights are). This is not something you can change in settings, AFAIK.
