Hiya,

Just removed my battery to charge externally from the mains, as I haven't had a chance to use it for a while. The charger is flashing long green then short red? It should be plugged in at both the mains and battery end. I'm hoping I didn't leave it just a couple of days too long ...

Best regards,

Dave.

Hello,

I bought a TC MAX 2020 the last week and I have the same problem (first charge).

When the charge exceeds 85/90% : the charger shows "No Battery Detected" (Red Green Blinking).

Today, I try a new charge...

@dgorst your issue is solved ?

Does the moped lights up with the battery in place, instruments etc?

Is it long time since you last charge? If battery is left connected in the moped for 2-3 months, the alarm can deplete the battery so that the voltage is below the limit of charging, can you measure the battery voltage using a voltmeter?

You should find a voltage between 50V - 71.4V

Also, try to measure the output voltage of the charger as well, just to make sure it works (71.4 or 69.7V).

To revive the battery ... if it's really dead and you're measuring very low voltage (like 10V), you'll need a special charger to recharge it.
