Hi all,

I just went for a ride, got to my destination with 89% battery and turned the bike off with my fob.  I then went for a 30 min walk.  When I came back to the bike I turned it back on with the fob and was alarmed to see it come up as 0% battery, 0 range and mode 0.  Not surprisingly the throttle didn't work.

I opened the seat up and turned off the main power switch and turned it back on, same result.  I then turned it off again, pulled the cable off the battery, put it back on, then turned the main power switch back on and turned the bike on again with the fob.  Was relieved to see the battery showing as 89% again and everything back to normal.

The bike is only 2 weeks old, wtf.  Has anyone else had this issue?

Probably software bug... Just keep it in your mind, check always if you have pushed your connector good into the socket. If you often get this problem go to your dealer!

@nenagirl I spoke to my dealer, they had no answers for why this happened.  I'm hoping it was just some sort of one-off software glitch and that it never ever happens again and especially not if I'm in the middle of fast moving traffic...

@ewayfarer one thing you could do atleast is check all cables! There are some glitches in the software I noticed that but checking the cables can’t do any harm!

@ewayfarer My dealers are really great guys, but they can't get any more info from Importer than us. I've asked for service manual and wiring diagram. No response from importer, and local dealer not able to obtain. It seems like its a self education process.

I’ve had the same about a month after getting mine in June 2021. Maybe it’s software related when it reaches the first 1000km or another threshold?

Did similarly to what you did (only not the main switch off) and it also came back to life.

@antunesr I've now had it happen about 5 or 6 times in 2 years, turning the main switch under the seat off for 20 secs and then back on always fixes it.
