Hi, I would like to know your experience with 10A charger. What is a charging time from empty to full? Another issue... Do you have some experience with batery durability after use "stronger" charger? What do you think about 15A chargers which I've seen at internet?

Thanks in advance!

You should try on YouTube, I’ve seen some fast chargers for Super soco.

also the best way to keep battery alive is actually slow charging, which the original chargers have

There is an 'official' Super Soco 10A charger for the TC max.

I doubt using it would vastly detriment the battery longevity. After all it's still charging the battery at less than 1/4C and I'm sure from the original specs of the TC Max that it was supposed to come with the 10 amp charger.

My experience has been grand. I got a 10A one so I could get back out delivering food faster. Charge time is down from somewhere under 6 hrs to about 2 hrs 30 mins (assuming you don't actually drain the battery beyond 15-20%). I use the slow charger (5A) whenever it's not necessary to fast charge. Battery hasn't shown any noticeable degradation, and I've put about 1500 miles on the bike since I started using the fast charger. My theory is there's more profit margin selling the slow charger and then making you pay for the upgrade, and from what I understand a battery will take a charge in A equivalent to half its Ah rating, so a 30Ah battery should in theory be able to handle a 15A charge without any danger.

By the beginning of spring I plan to install a 20 amp (it`s correct for li-ion battery TC Max) charger and a Type 1 charge connector in the motorcycle for charging from charging stations throughout the city. I’ll write about my successes (or failures). Best regards.

Im not sure if commercial charging stations (specially fast ones) do not communicate with vehicle by some protocol. I seen somewhere info about stations shutting charging off when cars had issues with this communication.

Looking forward to reading about this as it is something I have also thought of doing to extend the usable range of my bike.
