@Peter: I have a TCMax with spoked wheels (you do not mention what type of wheels are fitted to yours) that has had 3 spontaneous flat tyres so far (2 rear, 1 front). They just went flat with no puncture. The first time both front and back went down on the same day!

Apparently, you need 'computer assisted' (whatever that entails) adjustments to get the belt the correct tension and aligned properly. I sent mine to a local Yamaha dealer 1 mile away (as the Soco dealer I bought the bike from was out of travel range and I thought it would be a trivial thing). However, a few months later, the belt teeth stripped off. Not sure if it was the Yamaha dealers lack of specific knowledge about the Soco rear wheel adjustments or plain bad luck.

I have just got my bike back now from the Soco dealer. Needed new belt and I had him put new brake pads, tyres and a bit of a service.

First ride out to work last Friday and as I leave from work the rear tyre is flat again. Thats 3 flat tyres now!

Im not sure what the issue with the TCMax tyres are, or if its just bad luck on my end.

Anyone else apart from me and Peter having a bad time with tyres?

Going back to the original question though Peter, especially if you are not well versed in tyre/wheel maintenance/adjustment, I would take it to the dealer. Otherwise, if you decide to do it, I believe the alloy wheel version is tubeless and the spoked is definitely tubed. Good luck!
