And that is only after 3 months! I've been commuting all year round on an MTB from Decathlon for about 10 years before the TC Max and it has no rust on the frame. The MTB cost about £300, the TC Max cost £4000. There's definitely something wrong with the paint.

I've had to strip various bits and repaint. I've used Hamerite I've had to paint one of the rear pegs also as the salt had really corroded that. I'd clearly been neglecting it when I wipe down as it is on the stand side

seems as if the Soco build quality has really gone down hill, I haven't had a single problem with my TS in 2 n half years, but the TC Max seems plagued 😣

Maybe because you have the first batch of the TCMax? or did you have the TS also the first batch? I also have rust on some points, mostly on the chrome on the fornt suspension.

i don't know if mine (TS) was the first batch made, but it was the first into the UK; i would usually expect things to improve, not get less reliable - but that said, have to keep in mind that people often come to forums to fix problems, and we don't really know how many TC Max are out there running with no issues
