I'd like to use one of my CPX's 60v batteries for an E-bike (cycle) and trailer project. I'm working on stepping down the voltage to be compatible with my 36v bike system, and I gather that in order to get power out of the 60v battery, that apart from getting hold of the correct plug, that a pin has to be shorted to ground in order for the battery terminals to supply power, so :-

1, Is there a best place to buy, and/or a particular lead which would be suited to my use ?

2, Has anyone done this and can confirm the procedure to make the terminals live ?

3, Anyone used a Buck converter for such a purpose with success ?
