Hello people,

It has been more than 300kms since the fix I showed you and the bike is running fine with absolutely no problems with the battery. So, be aware that there might be bad solder connections on the BMS board if you experience problems.

Regards

If it seems to be a general error with faulty solderings on the BMS you can get a new BMS as a Goodwill Warranty from the supplier, they rather takes som extra small costs in the beginning , will cost more if  lots of customers start to spread that fact that the circuit boards is of inadequate quality.

I am SOOOOOO annoyed that people who have dealerships with those bikes have absolutely no idea about them...

A couple of weeks ago I went to help a friend who sells the E-go2 by goodyear. They had tried all ECUs of the bike and couldn't find anything. It appeared that there was no power in the front of the bike because of a bad cable. Problems in them are easy to be fixed. Just use your head and a multimeter.

If you are a dealer you can take parts from another bike and test in the troublesome one. So you end up with logical conclusions to the problem and get it fixed...

Kinda relate to this message... if you are doing a normal maintenance they don’t look at the motor or battery’s because they don’t know anything about the super SOCO.... maybe more e-scooters as well

So right, the dealers only know how to replace spare parts ( which you have to wait 14 days for: ( )

That happened with my dealer I kept telling him I am certain that the battery is the problem and then he proceeded to say “you have derestricted it yourself though” and keeps mentioning it as if that is the reason why my bike keeps turning off. I even have two batteries and he said one day to bring in my bike to get it tested out and I said can’t you use the faulty battery on the brand new super Soco here in the store so you know it’s definetly the battery but he said no he needs to call because he doesn’t know what to do if he doesn’t know what the problem is. Super Soco replied straight away but won’t deal with me apart from him and he still won’t contact them for me so I’m stuck lol hoping I can fix it myself without voiding warranty. He keeps leaving voicemails to a number I’m not certain where it was from but he won’t use the form on the website that I was able to use to get an instant reply.

I think that sadly the UK version of Super Soco aren’t as helpful as the European ones. The person who contacted me was one from supersoco.co.uk that only deal with UK and has his UK address at the bottom which made me now realise they are almost entirely separated from the people from the European Super Soco once the bikes are here and they even have a separate website for the bikes. After seeing how they help with people in Europe it seems very different to the UK because the ones here wouldn’t allow me to check the battery myself without voiding the warranty and said they will only deal with my dealer who won’t contact them making it much harder than it would be if I got a super Soco in the EU and needing a part replacing. I thought it was just Super Soco doing this and not helping however they are like an extension for the UK run by people here and not actually at Super Soco who would probably fix this. Does anyone know if the EU version will still be able to help even though I bought it in the UK?? Thanks. (puntofato sorry I have been trying to appeal against a ticket I somehow got a ticket for parking my bike outside my flat because it doesn’t have its own garage even though I do it every day and bikes in the UK don’t need to display tickets since they would just get stolen and put on other cars or the wind would blow them away)
