Does anyone know whether the non-electric components on our bikes, like brakes, levers, pegs, shocks etc. are common to any other Chinese bike manufacturers? I would expect this, as Super Soco would be daft to design and produce every last part of the bike. I am just thinking ahead to things like new brake pads and other service items, and not having to find a Soco specialist to get them.

Also racks & top boxes might be common to other budget bike brands?

@mrj - I was looking for some options yesterday. Some links I found below. First 2 offer very limited spare/tuning parts. A wide mine you will find in 3rd but even when I registered there - I cannot se prices so far - I have still "Pending account verification" status.

Outdoor Dreams have pretty high prices but they do have really good service. The one error they made was when I ordered replacement mirrors, and they sent me the TC Max mirrors by mistake, which weren't compatible, and they sent the correct ones immediately by express shipping, which must've cost them a fair bit internationally. Didn't even ask for the wrong ones to be returned. So although the prices are steep, I would recommend them.

My experience with Soco parts sellers:

  • Outdoordreams.com - Limited stock, but they will ship to North America if you ask them in advance by email. They'll set it so you can order stuff. Shipping is at least 6 to 8 weeks and very pricey if it's overseas.
  • Smart-coasting.eu - I can't seem to get them to ship to North America.
  • Unioem.com - This site is for dealers and other companies. They don't sell to individuals.
  • Chinahao.com - I made a purchase, but they cancelled it within a couple of days with a refund that I lost money on because of the currency exchange. Doh.
  • Motorino.ca - Canadian authorized dealer in the Vancouver area. No parts or accessories on their website, but they keep a stock and can ship. Phone them.
  • RichmondEbike.ca - Dealer for sub-LSM Super Socos (unlicensed) in the Vancouver area. They don't keep a stock, but they'll be happy to order any Soco part or accessory.

It's hard to get parts at all, let alone for a reasonable price. Honestly, I'm tempted to buy a 2nd TC used just to cannibalize it for parts.

Thank you for update. I am in EU so now I've put my order to Outdoordreams.com. I will see how they work soon. But mostly German resellers work fine. I only wish they have a bit wider stock.

Excellent! Thank you. All the easy to break parts are there, and brake pads.

I have a dealer within riding range, but I haven't tried to get parts from them yet. (I have had my TC MAX for 2 days so no need for parts so far!)

One day I might take the brake pads out and take them to my LBS (Local Bike Shop) to see if they can find a match.

@mrj - basics yes, they have. But for little tuning just some like https://www.outdoordreams.eu/Alloy-brake-lever-adjustable-and-foldable-Super-Soco-TS---TC.html I am waiting for.

My order from Outdoor Dreams arrived weeks early, so I'm pretty happy with them on the shipping front.

I think only delivers in EU, (and only in few countries), but not bad to ask if can deliver also overseas: https://2roueselect.fr/en/47-supersoco-tc

Never purchased from them because my TC is still new, so cannot comment anything about this shop.

This is cool, they have stuff Outdoordreams is missing. Very interested in the tyres especially, I have come to the conclusion that the stock tyres are dog's mess and I'm very interested in replacing them with something that provides more traction in winter.

Hey,

I have seen that Smart Costing is now shipping by DHL to the USA. Could look there if it is still current.
