I found quite a pool of collected rainwater under the seat almost deep enough to short out the charging socket which could be real dangerous. To stop this happening again i drilled 2 drainage holes in the plastic which allows it to drain when on the side stand which i highly recommend doing as a safety precaution. This bike just isn't waterproof enough for an electric vehicle in my opinion! See my other post about my powerbutton taking on moisture which meant i couldn't turn it on without hotwiring! See photo

Always been bone dry there for me, is your external rubber grommet missing off your plug?

Dry for me as well but bike usually also stays mostly indoors with the humans.
